A woman with a parasol stands on a small bridge built over a small lake, and a woman sitting on the veranda fence of the protruding tea house over the lake looks at her. The small size of the Japanese style garden harmonizes with the women.

Men carry rice shoots, but men also join the five women planting the rice shoots. The rice paddies are beautifully demarcated. This is a real-life photograph.

The caption reads "A house at Mississippi Bay, near Yokohama" in English. This is a tea house on the Fudosaka, a strolling route leading to Mississippi Bay (Negishi Bay). Several women are resting, and a child brings some tea.
